Shedding Weight

The nonprofit sector continues to lose weight--shedding staff to survive? The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Philadelphia Orchestra, Youthbuild USA, and many other nonprofits throughout the United States. In addition, some organizations have asked staff to take payless furloughs, increase their workload, and pay for a greater share of their health benefit.
